Standard Coverage

3 Years / 100,000 KM

Base-tier technical warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal operating conditions.

Exclusive Coverage

5 Years / 150,000 KM

Inherent protection for the Starlet and Urban Cruiser, reserved for the regional conditions of urban transit.

Zero-Cost to Owner

All warranty repairs (parts and labors) are performed at no charge to the owner, with the exception of the specific pro-rata terms governing the Battery Life-Cycle.

New Vehicle Limited Warranty

Scope:
Total Vehicle (Manufacturing defects under normal use).

Provision:
Effective from “In-Service Date”; fully transferable to subsequent owners.

Covers repair or replacement of factory-supplied parts for 36 Months / 100,000 KM or 60 Months / 150,000 KM (depends on model). Repairs are performed at no charge for parts or labor.

Note: Fulfillment subject to parts availability; a logistical window of up to six months may apply.

Battery Life-Cycle & Tire Mandate

Scope:
Original Equipment Battery and Factory-Fitted Tires.

Provision:
Battery coverage is 24 Months or 50,000 KM from the purchasing date.

100% battery replacement (free) during months 0–12 (up to 25k km). 50% charge to customer applies during months 12–24 (up to 50k km).

Note: Tires are governed under a separate warranty protocol by the tire manufacturer.
Warranty excludes Wear & Tear (filters, plugs, blades, clutch linings), normal noise/vibration, and cosmetic deterioration (fading/blur).

Paint & Environmental Protection

Scope:
Body Panels and Surface Coating.

Provision:
Mirrors primary vehicle tier (3Y/100k or 5Y/150k).

Protects against paint failure and surface rust, specifically calibrated for the Libyan sun and high-salinity coastal environments.

Note: Pickup Truck Deck Panels are subject to a 12-Month / 20,000 KM protocol.

Towing & Roadside Recovery

Scope:
Inoperative vehicles due to warranted part failure.

Provision:
Valid for the duration of the warranty period within Libya.

Full coverage of actual costs for towing to the nearest Authorized Toyota Libya Dealership when a warranted part failure renders the vehicle mechanically inoperative.

Genuine Spare Parts Warranty

Guidelines for genuine parts purchased outside of a new vehicle sale. Coverage is subject to the installation environment.

Dealer Installation

Full Support that covers both official and unofficial (parallel) Toyota models.

Term: 6 months or 10,000 km (whichever comes first).
Includes parts and labor.

DIY/External Installation

Support limited exclusively to official Toyota Libya vehicles.

Term: 6 months from purchase date.
Covers manufacturing defects of the part only.

What is Not Covered?

Parameters and conditions that sit outside the technical mandate.

Operational Misuse

Repairs required due to racing, overloading, negligence, tampering, or disconnection of vehicle systems.

Unauthorized Alterations

Any modification, improper adjustments, or use of non-genuine parts and materials.

Environmental Impact

Surface corrosion or damage caused by acid rain, airborne fallout (chemicals, tree sap, etc.), salt, hail, windstorms, lightning, or floods.

Incidental Damage

Cosmetic or surface corrosion resulting from stone chips, scratches, or accidents.

Protocol Negligence

Repairs or adjustments necessitated by a lack of required maintenance or improper service procedures.

Fluid Standards

Damage resulting from the use of incorrect fuel types or fluids other than those specified in the Official Vehicle Owner’s Manual.

Odometer Integrity

Coverage is void if the odometer mileage has been altered or changed such that the actual distance cannot be verified.

Consumables

Periodic maintenance items (filters, spark plugs, fluids, wiper blades, clutch linings) are performed at the owner's expense.

Natural Aging

Normal noise, vibration, wear and tear, or cosmetic deterioration (fading, discoloration, blurring).

Incidental Expenses

Any commercial loss, loss of time, or inconvenience (e.g., telephone calls) resulting from a mechanical failure.

Technical and Safety Recalls

In case of a manufacturing defect identified at scale, a Special Service Campaign (Recall) is launched for the continued safety and performance of your vehicle.
